Baker McKenzie 2021/22 Seasonal Clerk Information & Networking Evening

Instructions for Candidates

Thank you for participating in our Baker McKenzie Melbourne 2021/22 seasonal clerkship recruitment process.

Please read these instructions carefully before attending the virtual information & networking evening.

Joining our virtual information & networking evening

  1. The event will commence at 4:30 pm with a welcome address and virtual panel, hosted by Peter Lucarelli (Melbourne Staff Partner) and Natalie Mascarenhas (Senior Consultant - Graduate Resourcing). The panel will feature the following panellists: Rick Troiano (Partner), Matthew Bliem (Senior Associate), Ellen Adianto (Senior Associate), Alex Hewitt (Associate), Matthew Jarrett (Associate), Marissa Volaris (Graduate), and Sabrina Rodrigues (former Seasonal Clerk/2022 Graduate).

To join, use the 'Join Virtual Panel' button under the event introduction on the virtual event homepage (click here for the homepage).

We encourage you to use the Zoom 'raise hand' function and verbally ask questions during the panel session when you are called on. You can also feel free to submit your questions in the chat box and we will call on you to ask your question. We would like it to be as interactive as possible!
  1. At 5:30 pm, the panel will conclude and you will be invited to join Zoom video booths dedicated to each of our practice groups.

Please join our practice groups' Zoom booths via the virtual event homepage. Use the ‘Join Booth’ button under the practice area description to join each Zoom booth.

We encourage you to visit any practice groups you are interested in, with your videos on throughout the evening, to network with our partners, lawyers, graduates and former seasonal clerks (2022 graduates) and learn about our various practice areas. You can attend as many or few Zoom booths as you wish and can allocate your time as you see fit. You are also welcome to return to any practice groups throughout the event. You will be able to ask questions verbally or via the Zoom meeting chat function.

  2. At 6:30 pm, candidates are invited to return to the initial Zoom meeting, which they can access by clicking on the 'Join Main Session' button (on the home page), and Peter Lucarelli will wrap up the event.

  3. The event will conclude just after 6:30 pm.
